Election season is upon us and we have two<\/strong> important votes – we need your participation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

First<\/strong>, voting is now open to elect new members of the Governing Council<\/strong> \u2014 this year, four positions in the Governing Council are up for election: three candidates to serve as members-at-large on the Governing Council and one Institutional Representative. To learn about the excellent candidates standing for election, go to the NANAS Election 2024 page<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This link<\/a><\/strong> will take you to the Governing Council ballot where you can vote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second<\/strong>, the NANAS Governing Council has been revisiting and revising two core documents to NANAS \u2013 its Constitution and Bylaws<\/strong>. As a result of these efforts, we propose some changes to both documents that more responsively reflect the current ways in which NANAS operates. We are asking members to consult the following two documents \u2013 the NANAS Constitution<\/a> and the NANAS Bylaws<\/a> that detail and explain the suggested changes. We need at least two thirds of our membership to vote and approve constitutional changes<\/strong>, so please take the time to vote. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both ballets will remain open for voting through March 13, 2023<\/strong>.  Please make sure your NANAS membership<\/a> is up-to-date in order for your vote to count. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
